Tarot cards, and the practice of reading them, originated in Italy. A transformative transition from traditional playing cards, they served as a tool to facilitate a conversation about things pertaining to the individual asking for guidance. As each card was pulled, then interpreted, the conversation would start to open up in a way that would delve into the answer seeker. The seeker would ask their question, and in turn, end up learning a little bit more about themself, or Self.
